Recipe: When column changes copy the public URL of files to column

Set up integration:

The following pop up message will appear when installed via the app marketplace:

Select Install.

This will open up the location of the application installed in your monday.com account under > avatar > admin > apps:

You're all set to use Public Files app!

Recipe:

When column changes copy the public URL of files to column

This recipe copies the public URL of the files column to a text column when a column changes.

Select your chosen board.

Select "Integrate" on the top right hand side of the board.

Scroll down and select "Public Files".

Click on the automation "When column changes copy the public URL of files to column".

Select Authorize:

Configure the recipe accordingly:

Column: Select a column in the board

Files: Select the file column in the board

Column:Select the text column in the board

Once configured, select add to board.

If the recipe is successful it will be added to your board integration tab:

You can upload multiples files into the files column.

If multiples files are uploaded into the files column, the description in the public URL text column will separate the the multiple files by a coma.

The automations can be used only once the integration has been set up.

The authorise pop up will only appear once in the initial set up of the Public Files Integrations.
