Recipe: When status changes to something copy the public URL of files to column

Set up integration:

The following pop up message will appear when installed via the app marketplace:

Select Install.

This will open up the location of the application installed in your monday.com account under > avatar > admin > apps:

You're all set to use Public Files app!

Recipe:

When status changes to something copy the public URL of files to column

This recipe copies the URL of the file in the files column and converts into a link into a text column when a status changes to a trigger of your selection.

Select your chosen board.

Select "Integrate" on the top right hand side of the board.

Scroll down and select "Public Files".

Click on the automation "When status changes to something copy the public URL of files to column".

Select Authorize:

Configure the recipe accordingly:

Status:Select your status column

Something: Select your preferred trigger action from selected status column

Files: Select the file column in the board

Column:Select the text column in the board

Once configured, select add to board.

If the recipe is successful it will be added to your board integration tab:

The automations can be used only once the integration has been set up.

The authorise pop up will only appear once in the initial set up of the Public Files Integrations.
